Jean-Marie JANUEL

Docteur en sciences (PhD.) en épidémiologie, santé publique et économie de la santé, Jean-Marie Januel a obtenu un Master en santé publique (avec spécialisation en épidémiologie), un Diplôme d’Etat d’infirmier, et plusieurs diplômes et titres de troisième cycle. Spécialiste de la recherche sur les systèmes et services de santé, l’intérêt scientifique du Dr sc. Jean-Marie Januel porte sur les approches quantitatives et modélisantes des organisations et des pratiques de santé. Ses travaux de recherche s’appuient sur le champ thématique de la sécurité des patients et la gestion des risques associés aux soins en particulier, pour montrer la complexité de la santé en utilisant les données de vie réelle et la terminologie proposée par la classification internationale des maladies (CIM-10 et CIM-11).
La longue expérience, nationale et internationale (France, Suisse, Canada en particulier), a amené le Dr Sc. Januel à s’intéresser à la multimodalité dans les approches d’ingénierie des systèmes de santé et à discuter le principe de transdisciplinarité comme une solution à la problématique de la complexité des organisations et pratiques de soins, suggérant la nécessité la mise en œuvre d’un véritable changement de paradigme (sujet de son HDR).
Le Dr Sc. Jean-Marie Januel est l’auteur et co-auteur de plus de 100 communications et publications scientifiques. Jean-Marie Januel est par ailleurs, impliqués dans plusieurs comités d’experts au plan national et international (membre qualifiée (2017 à 2022) puis vice-présidente (depuis 2022) du comité des systèmes de santé et de la sécurité des patients du Haut Conseil de la Santé Publique, membre du groupe consultatif sur la qualité et la sécurité dans le cadre du développement de la CIM-11 à l'OMS (depuis 2014), délégué français au sein du Groupe d'experts sur les indicateurs de qualité des soins de santé de l'OCDE, où il a représenté la France de 2008 à 2018 (membre du bureau de 2012 à 2015).
